WARRANTY/RETURNS
All of our vendors provide warranty service and in most cases we will not need an item returned to replace it.
A clear picture of the damaged or defective item is normally enough for a replacement to be sent.
All OEM STIHL/HUSQVARNA/CCC Racing Items will require return for warranty replacement.
NOTE: There is
NO WARRANTY
on wear items like filters, hoses, clutch drums, rims, etc.
FEEDBACK
We use an automated system to respond to feedback when it is left for us.  We know this seems impersonal, but we ship upwards of 200 packages some days and leaving feedback individually would take hours best spent on packaging and listing new items.
ORIGINAL PACKAGING
Packaging on any item may differ from that pictured. When we restock an item from a vendor they sometimes make changes without letting us know.  Also many OEM products are purchased in bulk packaging and broken into smaller quantities for sale. These changes do not materially affect the product and we do not offer exchanges or refunds based on packaging differences.
OEM Bearings can be of many different manufacturers. When we list any item with OEM in the title it is from the actual OEM source regardless of brand or packaging.
REPLACING A PISTON OR CYLINDER? READ THIS!!
If you don't KNOW why your piston or cylinder was damaged the first time, don't just replace it or the same thing will happen again.
These parts die for a reason.
The most common reasons for scoring are bad fuel, improperly adjusted carburetors, and air leaks.
CARBURETORS and CARBURETOR REBUILD KITS
We stock OEM carburetors and carb rebuild kits from STIHL, Zama, Walbro and Tillotson as well as imported carbs and kits from a Zama rubber factory in China, we will always make clear in our listings the source and brand of these and all items.
OEM vs. AFTERMARKET
For some parts there is a pronounced difference in performance or quality, for others the only difference is literally the price.
In all cases
I know of
the OEM parts are superior in these categories: Cylinders and Pistons, Fuel and Impulse Lines, Linkage Components, Brake System Parts, Top Handles.
Caber rings are equal to or superior to all others and are actual OEM rings in some cases.
Meteor Pistons are as good as or better than OEM for most models, Meteor cylinders for models are just as good as OEM.
Warning for chainsaw parts buyers!!
If a listing says "replaces" or "replace" or "fits" or "for" it is likely an aftermarket part regardless of who the seller is.
If the Letters "OEM" appear in a title then that item must be genuine OEM.
Using "like OEM" or "replaces OEM" is against the eBay rules and should be reported to the seller and eBay.
An HONEST seller, will always tell you where and by whom their parts are made.
"Brands" that are the name of the store are almost always just cheaply sourced parts from China in a different box.
Stores and Sellers who hide behind fake names are to be avoided.

This is intentional.  If we ship the last of an item item as a warranty replacement or the last one is bought somewhere other than eBay, raising the price allows the auction to continue to run so that our many customers who use the eBay WATCH feature to track an item they buy frequently, can still find it when we receive a new shipment.
