2008 Other Makes VX-1

Description

Other Makes.  Vectrix VX-1 Electric Motorcycle / Scooter.  This thing is like new.  I bought it at an Auction from the University of Michigan.  It was in storage and had never been used.  I reconditioned the batteries and have ran it through about a dozen charge/discharger cycles on the road.  The performance seems to meet the published specifications.  This bike does 60+ MPH and has a range up to 65 miles  @ 25MPH.  The MSRP for this in 2008 was ,000!  This bike is still made and is very popular in Europe.  High quality build, check out the parts on this thing; Brembo brakes, Pirelli tires, Sachs Shocks, Marzocchi forks.  There is an onboard, integrated computer that controls everything including charging.  Gives you battery status and remaining range, that updates based on your driving behavior.  It has regenerative braking built into the throttle control that is really cool, once you get used to it.  The charger is built in and runs on standard 110V outlet.  Huge underseat storage and a locking glove box.  This thing is perfect for someone with a city commute, or just for having fun around town.  I have the original owners manual.
