    Description

Have you always wanted a runabout for use on the lakes and bays with family and friends? This is your boat! Easy to handle, easy to launch and easy to trailer at only 2700 pounds with trailer (dry weight). Amazing fuel efficiency for a boat and the brochure claims it has one of the largest interior in its class! I’ve owned this for the past 5 years and have a lot of great memories on it. It’s a great family boat with a capacity of 8 people. I really hate to see this go because I took such good care of it, but this year we had the opportunity to get a slightly larger boat and took it. As I now have two boats in my driveway, (the new one requiring quite a bit of work to get useable) So I really need to sell this!
The Bayliner has a Mercruiser 3.0L TKS, is quick to plane and handles like it’s on rails. It’s a great beginner boat as it bleeds off speed in turns so it is hard to get into trouble. Easy to Launch/retrieve and the way the engine cover lifts up, maintenance is a breeze. Can pull a skier or a tube with no issues. Hull is in great condition with no dings or dents. The boat has been washed and waxed every year and all maintenance performed yearly with amsoil high performance lubricants. Fuel filter and spark plugs have been changed every year as well. Vinyl is in mint condition with no cracks, tears, or dry spots. Boat has always been covered and vinyl maintained with meguiar’s marine vinyl cleaners and conditioners/protectants.
    HOURS:
No hour meter, but you can see from the condition that it is a low hour boat. I put no more than 10-15 hours on it per year and the previous owner (original owner) was an older gentleman who treated the boat very well. Idles and runs great. AS far as I know, its only been in fresh water with the exception of one daytrip to Manahawkin bay and I washed it down thoroughly and flushed the engine immediately after taking it out. Never kept in the water, always trailered.
    TRAILER:
Includes original Karavan trailer sized for the boat with fold away tongue and a 2" coupler. Working lights. I will include the guide poles on the trailer, they are only 2 years old and make getting the boat on the trailer in windy or high current conditions so simple. New winch strap as of last 2021.
    INCLUDED:
-BIMINI TOP - great condition, original
-Marine canvas- snap in cockpit cover with pole –original, but restitched in 2016 –-recently cleaned and rewaterproofed
-Marine Canvas-snap in bow cover with pole –original, but restitched in 2016 –- recently cleaned and rewaterproofed
-Full boat cover-blue, trailerable – 1 year old
    -Oar
    -Boat Pole
    -Anchor
    -Spare tire for trailer
    -(2) Bumpers
    MAINTENANCE and INSPECTIONS:
The carburetor was rebuilt last year for preventative maintenance. Recent tune up including cap, rotor, plugs, wires and battery switch installed. Timing was also checked and adjusted. Battery is 4 years old. Bellows are in great condition, shift cable and shift cable bellows replaced in 2020. Trim solenoids were replaced in 2020 as well.
The boat has been winterized due to the potential for freezing weather and stabil marine put in the gas tank and run through the carb, but i have videos of it running from when I winterized it 10/18 and for serious buyers, I will Run it and re winterize.  The boat has been meticulously maintained, however it is being sold as is. I welcome a marine inspection at the cost of the buyer on the condition that I be provided a copy of the results if anything is found. I will bring the boat to a professional of your choosing within 15 miles of 07876 at no additional cost. The cost of re-winterization will be covered by the buyer if performed by anyone other than myself. If further travel is required, please message me ahead of time to work out details.
    FUTURE MAINTENANCE:
In addition to the normal spring oil change, gear lube change, new spark plugs, new fuel filter, clean spark arrestor, greasing and yearly inspections, I was going to replace the drive belt, water impeller and thermostat next year. (I use fogging oil to winterize it, so it will need new spark plugs and I always recommend putting in a new fuel filter).  All working fine, but I prefer to follow mercruiser's replacement guidelines rather than wait for a problem.  Upon last inspection, the manifold and riser looked good, however we are getting into the recommended replacement period from mercruiser. The boat is electrically sound with easy to access wiring. Bilge pump, horn, radio, blower, lights, all operational, stern light socket replaced in 2021.
    POTENTIAL FUTURE COSTS:
Trailer will need new tires next year. Trailer does not have brakes, new owner may want to install them, but at under 3,000lbs, it was never a problem for my F-150.  Please consult your vehicle owners handbook for towing information about what is safe to tow without brakes. New owner is responsible for knowing their vehicle and their towing/tongue weight capacities.
The new owner may want to upgrade the radio/speakers as they are original. It works great and has an auxiliary input, but no usb or bluetooth functionality, also i've always found the bass to be a little lacking.
I used a handhelf VHF Radio on the boat, which will not be included, so the new owner may want to purchase one.  New owner will need the rest of the required safety gear as well. Please refer to the USCG website for more info. Anything not listed as included, will not be included with the sale. So new owner will be responsible for any additional safety equipment. I will include a fire extinguisher, but it is more than 5 years old and should be replaced.
    TITLE:
I have the title for the boat in my name and the certificate of origin for the trailer. Both are currently registered in my name.
    SHIPPING /PICK UP
Ideally the boat would need to be picked up buy the buyer,. However, depending on my schedule and final sales price, I may be able to deliver it within 30 Miles of 07876. I would ask that you come see the boat first, then pay in full, prior to delivery.
Thank you for reading this far! I tend to ramble, have a great day!
